How we work

Our editorial approach

Clear definitions, official sources, and practical questions that help readers assess a domain decision.

What our guides are designed to do

Our articles explain domain buying, selling, naming, marketplace workflows, and handover preparation. They are educational reading, with checklists and examples readers can adapt to their own circumstances. Examples illustrate a method; they do not predict a sale price or return.

Sources and platform information

For platform-specific claims, we prefer official marketplace pages, help centers, and relevant organizations such as ICANN and Google Search Central. Each long-form article includes a principal editorial source. Marketplace overview pages link to the official guidance used for their descriptions.

We avoid presenting volatile platform fees, eligibility conditions, or delivery times as universal rules. Readers should check the live terms applicable to the exact name and transaction. A guide is a starting point for those questions.

Numbers and comparisons

We do not invent search volumes, traffic figures, sales records, testimonials, or performance guarantees. An asking price is labeled as an asking price; a hypothetical calculation is identified as an example. We distinguish naming judgments from measurable facts.

Independence

Marketplace names are used to identify the services covered. DomainsPodcast.com does not claim to represent those businesses. The site does not currently use affiliate tracking links or paid ranking placements. Any future sponsored material or commercial links should be disclosed where they appear.

Dates and corrections

Articles display a publication date and an updated date when the material has been revised. Publication dates organize the editorial archive; platform information was reviewed for this site’s September 2026 edition. If you identify an error or an important change, send the page address, the passage, and an authoritative reference through our contact page.

Scope

Reading a guide does not replace the terms of a marketplace or registrar, or the professional advice appropriate to a material business decision. We aim to make the questions clearer so readers can obtain the answers their own transaction requires.
